Meet Alice

Hello! I’m Alice.

My Life-long Passion

My passion for supporting families has extended over 40 years, and I intend it to continue for many, many more. I am an author of parenting books and a multitude of articles, and have been a parent coach for many years. I’ve had the honor and privilege of connecting and working with many of you, helping each of you to create the positive and meaningful change you’ve desired. I’ve raised two lovely daughters alongside my husband, have taught preschool, co-directed an infant-toddler center, mentored daycare providers and parents, been a caregiver for many children and families through the years, taught parent education classes, led workshops, volunteered often, and feel renewed each time I get to spend time with any child who graces my life.

My Experience

PCI Certified Parent Coach®
ScreamFree Certified Leader
Mother of two!

I am all about changing the world, one (or more!) relationship at a time. All that I have done through the years has led me to simply connecting meaningfully with whomever I’m with and where-ever I go—always with the intent to leave each of you lifted in whatever way means the most to you; in whatever way you need the most. My work–writing, coaching, connecting–is here to encourage and empower you along your parenting journey so you can continue to parent well.

I earned my bachelor’s degree in Child Study from Tufts University in Massachusetts; my graduate level Parent Coach Certification through the Parent Coaching Institute in collaboration with Seattle Pacific University in Washington State; and my ScreamFree Leader certification through www.screamfree.com.

Connecting meaningfully with each parent and child I meet fills me with JOY and real, honest hope for the future.

Supporting families extends over 40 years.

My Education

Families matter.

You matter.

“I just love this pause feeling you have introduced. The more I practice the more I am successful in getting hold of the situation. Your daily articles reiterate this and just keep me reminding in case I forget. Keep up your awesome work.”
